Attraction World partners with UCB in Summer internship scheme

Attraction World has partnered with University College Birmingham to offer an exciting new internship program this Summer. Attraction World are the UK’s leading experience ecosystem, and since its creation in 1996, has enabled over 5 million customers to pre book attractions, excursions and experiences in over 30 countries around the world, with an unrivalled range of theme parks, sightseeing tours, theatre shows and experience days on offer, Attraction World are the now the UK’s largest B2B Tours & Attractions supplier.

Olly Nicholls, newly promoted Chief Executive at Attraction World, said: “As a Birmingham-based business we are proud to partner with the UCB this Summer. I believe that investing in grass roots growth is important at any organisation, and with on-the-job experience now becoming a crucial factor for employers, I believe that gaining this work experience will give students a competitive advantage over their peers; that’s where an internship can make all the difference.”

Attraction World are offering internships in a range of sectors, including sales, marketing, graphic design and social media management. Throughout their Summer of work experience, internship student s hope to develop a variety of soft skills, including communication skills, personal effectiveness, presentation skills, creative problem solving and influencing skills, and of course, the opportunity to explore career options and gain an insight into an organisation or career path.

We know how important it is for students to gain industry experience as they enter the graduate jobs market. At the university, we have a long and proud history of this. this and embed industry exposure in our teaching. Over the last year, we have worked closely with Attraction World with several students performing market research for the company, and with academic staff delivering a bespoke CPD packaged for furloughed staff.
